At our practice, we are continuing to provide top quality eye care to our patients and are now beginning to carefully and gradually reopen our offices with limited hours and days. We plan to resume regularly scheduled clinics on Monday, June 01, 2020.

With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic still a very real threat, we want our patients to feel safe and comfortable when they come to our offices. We have implemented strict protocols with guidance by local and state public health departments, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) to ensure utmost safety.

Changes to our office to protect our patients:

• Face coverings required for all patients and staffs.
• Plexiglass barriers in our reception area to protect patients and staffs.
• Sanitation of all exam rooms and medical equipment with hospital grade virucidal cleaning agents after every patient.
• Limiting the number of patients in the waiting room to ensure social distancing.
• Telephone screening of patients during appointment reminder calls and confirmation of health status at check-in.

Though there may be circumstances when we give priority to urgent or more serious medical eye conditions, we are now available to care for conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration, and we also welcome routine eye care and healthy eye visits. Our surgery centers are open now and surgical appointments are available.

If you are sick or have symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, or loss of smell/taste, we ask that you stay home and reschedule your appointment.
