Dr. Lee graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Genetics. He received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley. During his optometric training, Dr. Lee completed externships at the San Franciso VA Medical Center, Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital, Meredith Morgan Eye Center at UC Berkele, and Kaiser Permanente Point West Medical Center. He then went on to complete a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at the University of California, San Francisco. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Lee is an optometrist with training in comprehensive ocular examinations (including refraction, soft contact lens evaluation and rigid gas permeable lens evaluations), glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, pre- and post-operative care, dry eyes and uveitis. He is licensed to treat glaucoma and other eye conditions. Dr. Lee is committed to providing proper working with this proactive and thoughtful team at East Bay Eye Specialists to provide the highest level of care for his patients. Dr. Lee speaks both English and Korean.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Lee is an avid sports fan. Originally from Toronto, Canada, hi is a fan of the Raptors and Blue Jays. He also enjoys cooking, golfing, and spending time with family.

Please note that our office hours and phone system officially begins at 8:30am during business hours. Our doors open as early as 7:30am to accommodate patients with special needs for early morning appointments.

Public Transportation
The MacArthur BART station, on Telegraph Avenue, is about 17 minutes' walk north of our office. A free medical area shuttle service, operated by Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, offers a complimentary ride from MacArthur BART station to 3100 Telegraph Ave every 20 minutes.
